Our first project

Land Speed

We have partnered with Kolb Machine and Kolb Racing in developing a 125cc motorcycle that will be the first in history to break the 200mph speed barrier. It will be the smallest displacement vehicle to ever surpass that benchmark.

Our intention is to build a full streamliner and efforts to date have been the proving ground for its development.  A streamliner is a vehicle designed with a form that presents very little resistance to a flow of air, increasing speed and ease of movement.  Having reached the physical limitations of a partial streamliner within AMA guidelines, they have a recorded speed of nearly 160mph and have proof of concept for a ground breaking new vehicle.

Our goal is to be the smallest displacement and first 125cc powered vehicle to break the 200mph mark.

A smaller engine means less power.

In order to break 200mph, we will have to increase the functional aerodynamics of the vehicle.

What we’ve accomplished:

1.

Tested and proved the overall shape of the streamline in the wind tunnel. Decreased the drag and increased the power by designing the carbon fiber body work to play double duty as the chasis.

2.

Increased the efficiency of the motor and tested the horsepower in the Dyno. Decreased the drag of the entire vehicle by adding hub-centered steering.

3.

Tested and proved the effectiveness of the aluminum wheel. The smaller wheel allows the nose of the bike to be lower, decreasing drag on the vehicle and increasing efficiency.
