Our Mission

Our mission is to publish informational, educational material about applied aerodynamics to be used by teachers, students, designers and inventors in the pursuit of conserving fossil fuels and extending the efficiency of existing propulsion technology.

Efficient Aero will accomplish this by publishing content on a website, including articles, videos and sample curriculum supplements for grades 7-12, featuring examples of real world applied aerodynamics with a focus on transportation and energy efficiency.

By using real world examples, the STEM principles (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) become much more interesting and palatable to students, designers and inventors – especially those concerned with conserving fossil fuels and extending the efficiency of existing propulsion technology until other sources of fuel become viable.

“On-line broadband access and digital media are dramatically changing the opportunities available to the nation’s educators improving STEM education. Our recent national educator survey (Grunwald, 2009) indicates that more teachers than ever before are turning to digital media resources to help their students understand concepts, practice new skills and engage in exciting, authentic learning experiences.” – STEM Education Resource Center

Efficient Aero is a 501c3 organization.
